Painting Camp   ages 5-7 and 8-12

A great opportunity for kids to explore watercolors and acrylics, paint a still life or a self portrait, and study a famous artist’s techniques.  All new projects!

Clay Camp   ages 5-7 and 8-12

Pinch pots, coil pots, and slabs, oh my!  This clay camp will keep everyone up to their elbows in hand-building projects!  The younger potters will explore many types of clay (homemade play-doh, earthenware, and polymer), while the oldest potters will delve into more advanced forms and learn building and glazing techniques. **NEW**  Everyone will have a chance to try the potter's wheel!!!

Drawing Camp  ages 5-7 and 8-12

Students will learn a new drawing skill each day and acquire the ability to translate what they see onto paper.  Lessons include learning about famous artists, linear perspective, still life, and self portraits using pencil, charcoal, pastels and more!

The possibilities are endless this week where sculptures are edible, junk from around the house becomes sculpture or mosaic, duct tape and recycled clothing transforms into fantastic functional art!  Everyone will also help to create the "junk fence" being built around the school's yard!

Fiber Art Camp   ages 5-7 and 8-12

This is not your grandma’s quilting class!  Explore the fun in fiber with projects involving tye-dye, weaving, beads, papermaking, sewing, embroidery, and felted wool!  You’ll also design your own silkscreen and print it on a t-shirt or bandana!

Off -Site Programs

Sometimes it’s easier for the instructor to come to YOU!  Most of the Fine Arts or Craft classes can be offered at alternative locations such as schools, churches, senior citizen centers, or even your home.  Large groups up to 25 are easily accommodated for most projects. A travel fee of $20 may apply if the site is more than 5 miles from the downtown studio.  Great for Boy and Girl Scout Troops, 4-H clubs, Red Hat clubs, stay-at-home mom groups, and more!  Please call or email for more details.
Parties and Custom Classes

M’s School of Art would love to host your birthday/office/club party or create a custom art project for your group.  Small groups are manageable on-site or we can travel to a site of your choice for large groups.  Prices are based on whether an art project is provided and facilitated by M's School of Art,  or supplied by the host and facilitiated by MSoA, or for room rental only.  Please call or email for more information regarding your specific needs.
Open Studio

Need a place to be creative?  Several quick and simple projects are available to get your creative juices flowing.  Bring a project of your own to work on or use the time to finish projects from previous classes.   New to a an art medium?  Take a quick 4 session class, then work on your own during open studio!  Many medium available:  clay (handbuilding and wheel), painting, drawing, mosaics, polymer clay, felting, batik (call ahead), printmaking, and more!

Several discounts are available for enrolling and paying for multiple classes at one time, enrolling siblings, and referring new students.  Large group discounts also available.  Look for special website discounts posted on the home page.

Sibling Discount:    pay for one child in full, get 10% off the second, third child etc.

Multiple Classes:    pay for one class in full, get 10% off each additional class

Referrals:     refer 3 new students that attend a class valued at $55 or more, receive $55 credit to be applied to any class or camp offered within a year of 4th referral

Homeschool Workshops

Mini-art lessons for the homeschoolers are offered every Tuesday from 1:30pm-3:00pm for $9.00 each.  Classes include clay projects, craft projects, and fine arts projects too!  Sign up for just one at a time or get the package deal:  enroll and pay for 4 classes at once and get the 5th free.
